Pack 468 has only one fundraiser each year. We sell popcorn to raise money for the pack and the
scouts receive individual rewards for the amount of popcorn they sell. We encourage every scout to
participate in this activity. The pack uses the funds for camping equipment, pinewood derby supplies,
badges, etc. With as little as one sale, a scout receives a badge! For $50 in sales, a scout earns the
first prize level!

Scouts are also encouraged to sell popcorn door-to-door. They may take orders and deliver them, or
walk with a wagon full of popcorn to sell.The option is up to the scout and parent. All scouts must be
accompanied by a parent when selling popcorn! It is an Arlington Heights village ordinance not to solicit
on Sundays.

The scouts will also be asked to participate a minimum of one hour at a site sale. Adult supervision is
mandatory for all site sales! Each scout is responsible for their inventory brought and sold at the site
sale. Therefore, each scout will earn credit for their individual sales. A suggested inventory will be
provided prior to the site sale.

Popcorn information will be sent via backpack mail during the week of Sept11th. Popcorn is to be
picked up at the pack's designated house on Sept 22nd.
